In continuation of my letter of the 8th instant,

I am directed to transmit for your information the enclosed

copy of Terms of Reference made to the Committee, con- sisting of the Director of Public Works and Mr A.J.Williams whom His Excellency the Governor has appointed to report on the Bridges and culvertsof the British section Kowloon

Canton Railway.

I am to add that the Committee desire to make

certain horings under the supervision of an Executive

Engineer of the Public Works Department and to request you

tdrive facilities for such work being done.
